Thank You!
For the fifth year in a row Casablanca Video has been chosen as the #1 Independent Video Store by Fast Forward Reader's. We thank our customers for their loyalty.
About Casablanca Video
Casablanca Video was conceived 20 years ago by owner Jon Lord, who strongly believed in supporting all time Classics and strong Independent films. We feel it is important to supply films beyond and including the "blockbusters" that everyone has on the New Release wall.
We have been fortunate to find staff with a love of Cinema. Just check out their staff picks.
We support Live Theatre as well as the Independent Movie Theatres and Arts Institutes (refer to our Links) as well as many schools, charities and people in need as listed below.
We hope your experience with Casablanca Video is an enjoyable one.
Maybe we can help you find the movie you can't find anywhere else. With thousands of videos in inventory it is very possible.
Thanks for considering Casablanca.....................Patty Lord

The Calgary International Film Festival
www.calgaryfilm.com
With hundreds of films from at home and around the world, seminars from guest filmmakers, galas, visiting celebrities, and a projected attendance of more than 40,000, 2004 is shaping up to be CIFF's best year yet.
In only five years, the festival has far surpassed even our most optimistic expectation, and is quickly emerging as one of Canada's most important film festivals.
The first CIFF, in 2000, was a rousing success on every count, but every year since we've topped ourselves, not only in the number and quality of films shown, but in making CIFF a major destination on the North American film festival circuit.
This year, with films ranging from experimental art-house fare to star-studded blockbusters, documentaries to animation, CIFF is bringing to Calgary movie-lovers a quality and diversity of film never before available in their city. And given the limited distribution of some of these films, the festival circuit may be your only chance to see many of them.
It's your festival. Join us and make Calgary history.

Calgary Underground Film Festival
www.calgaryundergroundfilm.org
The Calgary Underground Film Festival (CUFF) is a fresh new festival committed to the celebration of alternative vision showcasing independent, provocative and experimental films and videos. The festival will features works that defy convention in form, style, and content by screening a wide spectrum of contemporary works in a variety of categories: feature, documentary, animation, short, and experimental.
Founded in 2003, CUFF is a collective group of arts administrators, festival organisers, and media artists who saw a void in alternative film and video exhibition for Calgary film enthusiasts. Calgary's thriving and growing arts community earmarks for us the perfect opportunity to bring in something new, innovative and challenging. The underground film festival theme is something that, new to Calgary, only builds upon what other major cities around the world have already initiated.
